I am always intrigued by the colourful and vibrant activities that happen regularly at the Sri Veeramakaliamman Temple in the middle of Little India in Singapore. A good tip, if you are ever going near that area, is to always carry your camera.
This evening was no different. From afar, the ringing of the temple bells attracted me inside. It was a beautiful ceremony. To see more images from this series.
The Sri Veeramakaliamman Temple is dedicated to the Hindu goddess Kali. According to Wiki, Kali has always been popular in Bengal, the birthplace of the labourers who built this temple in 1881.
